this is one of my favourite picture =]]



since 1 month ago, we decided to go on a cruise.. as in May, i went for a diving trip and the boat we traveled in is super shaky till i vomit my lungs out.. then wk told me cruise wouldnt shake at all.. thats why in the 1st place we decided to go on a getaway trip =]] then slowly we found out that cruise is bloody expensive!! so i suggest why not go bangkok =]] then wk start to do his super research and draw mind map and proposal.. and yup =]] it was a successful and enjoyable trip =]]

but before going on any trips.. the most important thing is to get a camera and capture all the wonderful memories.. =]] so i work hard in dome for 1 month plus to save enough money for the trip and camera.. =]]


a day before the trip.. wk helped me to buy my camera =]] our flight was in the afternoon so in the morning we went to collect the 4gb memory card.. if not i think wont be able to take so much pics.. also.. LOL.. more then 200 plus pics!!..


we reached the airport hours before our flight and we went to explore the "inside" of the airport.. where only people who have the boarding pass can enter.. at that point of time i was very excited =]] i am leaving singapore!! HOHO!! so i sms LKY and shues.. LOL


and this is our plane.. SQ 980..singapore airlines has got promotion at that time.. so wk booked it online.. its very cool that we bought our air tickets online and can even check in online.. LOL.. actually even the hotel are booked online.. LOL.. internet is a power tool =]]

we were sit at the very end of the whole plane.. and the emergency exit is behind us.. wk specially chose this sit as he say only book online can chose seats.. LOL.. and he likes to sit at the back.. the best thing about sitting at the back is that, you get to be served 1st.. when its meal time.. woohoo =]]

the plane took off and up we go into the blue blue sky and everything below looks so tiny and micro..


wk specially like this picture.. as you can the the tiny micro land that is i think 20% opacity at the bottom half of the picture and upper half is the very white and cottony clouds =]] like marshmallow..


seriously i think this picture is very well taken by wk.. =]].. as there is the 0% and 100% darkness and lightness.. super contrast.. i like.. this is beef with rice.. not bad actually..


and woohoo!! its land again.. we have reached thailand's air.. weeeeeeeeee


this is a fire station located at the airport.. and a whole group of guys are playing soccer.. suddenly i remember shues.. =]] i miss shues!!


went to pick up our luggages and poor wk is carrying them.. wk is very strong!!


wk booked a $100 Mercedes car as our transport to our hotel.. i believed only super VIP people will spend so much money on transport.. that blurry guy in the picture is the guy who came to fetch us to our cab.. must be earning a lot of money..


us waiting for the mercedes cab, from the airport pick up point to the airport car park is 3km can you believed it?? if you are late and need to chiong to get car, you need to run 3km!! then can reach your car.. OMG!


FINALLY in the cab on our way to the hotel =]] wk's research says that we need to collect ALL bangkok maps available in the airport.. and so we did.. LOL..


and this is the very super friendly and humble driver.. he speaks VERY good English and chatted with wk through out the journey and wk became friends with him.. LOL.. his driving is very safe and smooth.. till i can fall asleep in wk's lap.. and it took us 45mins to reach our hotel..


we went to check in the windsor hotel and were told to wait for 20mins for them to prepare the room =]] windsor hotel is a 4-star hotel.. and their staff are very friendly and helpful =]]


we are FINALLY in BANGKOK!! =]]

wk cant wait to put our luggage then rush to the suan lam night market.. but i die die wanna take picture first!! LOL

before we leave we weighed ourselves and then told ourselves that we will get FAT in this trip!! LOL

we leave our hotel and headed towards the train station where our map says.. and on the way there we saw this super big durian!! damn BIG!!


and this little token is what we got when we "tong" money into the machine for our transport.. works like our ezlink card.. but is in a token form.. lol..

and then we went to SHOP.. SHOP.. SHOP.. SHOP.. and MORE SHOP..
and also we bargain.. bargain .. bargain.. bargain and MORE bargain..
very fun!! lol


suan lam night market =]]


and its dinner time.. actually should be supper time.. we went to search for a nice place to makan.. actually we wanna makan at a small hawker stall.. but its very dirty there and cockroaches are crawling EVERYWHERE!! and i am super afraid of them.. i screamed silently!! then pull wk to safe ground.. lol.. and then we ended up at a tourist attraction.. i dunno what the place is called.. but in wk's research, this restaurant that we are at, will have thai puppet performances.. i think.. but its already very late.. so we didnt get to see it.. we ordered green curry pasta and a thai salad and they put those tiny and super spicy chilli inside.. and poor wk accidentally chew on one and he nearly die of the spicy-ness.. LOL


we are sit outdoors.. as the indoor area are for the performances.. =]]


and then we took tutu back to our hotel.. after makan.. and as we are noob tourist.. we were conned by the tutu driver and we payed $10 for the trip back.. when wk's research says that to tour the whole of bangkok its shouldnt even cost more then $8.. lol.. but i tell wk.. "we are not taking cab.. we are on bangkok's roller coaster..!!"


and very true.. the ride back was very fast and furious.. i have to hold the hand grip so tight!! i think the tutu driver's aim is to drive super fast till their passenger get flung out of their seats.. LOL.. so different compared to the $100 Mercedes cab.. LOL.. but it was pretty fun!! is a MUST try!! LOL.. and this marks the end of our beautiful day 1 in bangkok..


the next morning, we were having some "cosplay" with wk's new shades.. LOL..


we wake up super early in the morning.. around 8.30am.. to me is super early.. LOL..


the view is very nice from our hotel room =]] then we went down to have our breakfast buffet at the hotel.. and wk is crazy about maple syrup.. LOL..

everyday we need to pass by a overhead bridge to the subway or sky train station..


i miss bangkok!!

we nearly went to watch movie in this $20 per person cinema.. as the seat is so big and comfortable and before the show there is a 10 min massage.. woohoo..


we went shopping instead and wk bought sooooooooooooo much things.. SOOOOOOOOO MUCH THINGS!! LOL.. he is shopaholic!! but he says we are shopaholic!! LOL


went to change our clothes and dragged all our shopping bag back.. lol


then we went out to find a nice place for makan.. =]]


dinner was tom yum soup and traditional thai papaya salad.. despite their look.. they are damn delicious.. miss the papaya salad.. !!


and then we went to a super market and have some mochi!! =]] nice!! i like =]] cheers to mochi!!

and we went to shop shop shop again =]] endless shopping!! =D



brand new day again =]] wake up and chiong for maple syrup.. LOL

and seriously i think wk wear shades he look like some celebrities.. LOL

that day is SUPER DUPER sunny and hot and i cant even open my eyes.. i remember last time even if the camera's flash light is too bright my eyes still can open big big de.. LOL.. but that day was toooooooooo sunny.. i lose already.. lol


so wk decided to lent me his spects for awhile .. LOL

i love fruit juice nowadays.. and strawberry + watermelon + banana = heavenly

after so many cup of fruit juice we decided to try coconut juice =]] its only 50 cents so cheap!!


and we meet Captain Jack Sparrow so cool =]] and he is kind of fierce.. lol


wk keep laughing at the tiny fried bird egg.. LOL


so tiny!! and at one short can eat 7!

we shop till we dont really have much money left in our wallets then we decided to take cab back to our hotel room.. LOL


went to change our clothes and prepare ourselves for spa.. hoho.. never try before..


we had facial and thai massage.. i must be crazy to go thai massage as i thought they are going to break all my bones in my body.. but nevertheless.. i survived.. and wk keep complaining that the person who did his massage weren't experience enough.. while i think the person who massage me is super experience and is damn strong.. used alot of strength.. overall its a nice experience.. =]]

and i think the engineering people in thailand have some prob with their judgment as their sky train is too short!! and the platform is too long.. till even if we are waiting for the train 5min in advance.. when the train come still have to chiong then can get in.. cause we stand at the wrong end.. for the whole trip.. wk was the street directory.. he studied the map carefully and he never got lost.. even if we got lost just grab a cab will do.. LOL

planning to go to a 60 storey bar..we were wearing slippers at that time, and we were told that we need to wear cover shoes for guys and fashionable shoes for ladies.. WHAT THE.. indirectly say my slipper is not fashionable.. kind me didnt give 1 slap let them die.. so we search high and low for quick and cheap shoes.. just to enter the bar..

LOL.. really like race car.. then he keep saying that he keep to the right lane then all the cars will move to the other lane.. so its very fast.. then wk say "of coz, all the car give way.. as if early morning you see a car speeding like mad dog, will you move to other lane? if not sure die TOGETHER.. "



previously when we are on the Mercedes cab.. it took us 45mins to reach our hotel.. but with the same journey.. the crazy mad dog speeding uncle only need 15mins to reach the airport.. can you imagine how fast we are traveling in.. lol


time to check in and go back to the reality.. back to singapore our homeland.. back to where we belong.. damn unwilling..

saw this uncle climbing up a rambutan tree near my neighbour while i was waiting for bus.. he thinks he is spiderman.. he climb up the tree and pluck some rambutan for some aunties.. uncle you so old already dun anyhow climb tree can?.. xiao mei is worried for you.. as i fear that the tree cannot restand your weight.. ops =X fall from tree very paisei one.. but i promised i will chiong to help you up before laughing at you =X evil me.. =p
